How to Apply
The Rota Foundation is a non-profit philanthropy looking to help local 501(c) charitable organizations meet their goals and objectives through the provision of monetary grants. Here's how to apply to obtain a grant award.
The Application Process
STEP 1 - APPLY
Use online application only
STEP 2 - REVIEW
Your application is reviewed for award consideration
STEP 3 - QUALIFYING
TRF budget + qualifying application = award
STEP 4 - DECISION
Post all application reviews - awards will be notified promptly
STEP 5 - FUNDING
Turnaround in 3-6 weeks
STEP 6 - FOLLOW UP
90 days after award, follow ups are due by all awardees
Who should apply?
The Rota Foundation awards grants only to organizations with an active 501(c)(3) status.
Eligible organizations support local initiatives (international, national or regional programs, activities, or campaigns are not eligible).
The Rota Foundation does not award grants to faith-based organizations which are centered on a particular or specific theological belief. We are open to funding religious-oriented programs of all faiths that ensure its beneficiaries are free to receive support or be served without being bound to any specific religious aspect of the host nonprofit
Grant Application "Open Season" periods: June through December, annually.
Awarded grants range from $250-$20,000.
Notification of awards will be within 3-4 weeks of the date the application is submitted, unless notified that more evaluation time is needed.
All grant applications must be submitted via the Rota Foundation website (direct mail applications will not be eligible).
All awardees receiving a grant award must submit a post-award follow up summarizing the success of their grant to stories@therotafoundation.org. Those not submitting follow ups will not be eligible for further awards.
Qualified organizations are only eligible to receive one award every 12 months.
