The Rota Foundation’s mission is to assist charities supporting underserved local communities by helping them reach their organizational goals and objectives through grant funding.
Grant season is open from October 1 to October 31.
Rota Nonprofit-Focused Support Services:
The primary focus of The Rota Foundation’s grant awards is community nonprofits — organizations whose services are directed at charities that support the local communities where they live.
The charitable support service areas that we target for funding include, but are not limited to, the following:
Animal Advocacy & Welfare (protection, anti-factory farming/testing/cruelty, rescue, spay/neuter, etc.)
Education & STEM (literacy, post-secondary support, tutoring, academic mentoring, special education, vocational, etc.)
Healthcare Advocacy (affordability, mental & behavioral health, disability services, rehab/prevention, etc.)
Hunger, Poverty & Homelessness (food insecurity, food banks, food deserts, housing support or discrimination, etc.)
LGBTQ+ Advocacy (allies, suicide prevention, bullying, social acceptance, wrongful military discharges, etc.)
Quality of Life & Community Improvement (counseling, community support, foster care, family support, affordability, senior services, independent living, youth programs, etc.)
Social Justice & Human Rights (immigration, refugee, post-incarceration, racism, legal-inequities, law enforcement reform, etc.)
Veterans Support (post-traumatic stress, job training, disability support, homelessness, mental healthcare, first responders, etc.)
Women/Girls Advocacy & Welfare (gender equality, domestic violence, reproductive freedom, health/economic disparities, etc.)
