The Rota Foundation Story
The inspiration for the Rota Foundation resulted from its founder retiring after 33-years of being an IT consultant, running a corporate community outreach program for over 13 years, and his first job serving in the U.S. Navy.
The Rota Foundation is a blended collaboration of his previous military service and his corporate charity experience. When serving in the Navy, the founder was stationed in the port city of Rota, Spain, and was inspired to name the organization "The Rota Foundation."
Rota’s Mission
The primary objective is to award grants to organizations where the funds can have a direct positive impact to their mission.
We plan to award requested funds to local organizations that serve communities that are local and/or comprise a niche group of patrons.
The foundation hopes to assist charitable organizations seeking to make a difference through the provision of their support services.
All awarded grant recipients must be an active Internal Revenue Service registered 501(c) entity.
